SafeArrive is a child safety system. We handle sensitive information about children and families with care. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes — ever.

1. Who We Are

SafeArrive is operated by SafeArrive LLC, a California limited liability company. We provide an automated child arrival safety alert system for schools, preschools, daycares, nurseries, and summer day camps. Our contact email is hellosafearrive@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information in order to provide the SafeArrive service:

Child's full name and enrollment group
Parent or guardian name and phone number
Up to three emergency contact names and phone numbers
Whether a parent's phone can receive text messages
Pre-notification messages sent by parents (e.g. ABSENT, LATE)
School administrator name, email, and phone number
Teacher or staff name and login credentials
Attendance records and alert history

We do not collect payment card numbers directly. Billing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate the SafeArrive service:

To send automated text messages and phone call alerts to parents and emergency contacts when a child has not arrived
To maintain attendance records and alert histories for school administrators
To process pre-notifications sent by parents
To authenticate teachers and administrators
To communicate with school administrators about their account and subscription

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for any commercial purpose. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the system:

Twilio — to send SMS messages and make phone calls
Stripe — to process subscription billing
Render — to host the application

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain school and student data for as long as a school's subscription is active. If a school cancels its subscription, the school administrator may request a full export of their data. Following export, we will delete the school's data upon written request in accordance with applicable privacy law.

Alert history and audit logs are maintained as permanent, non-deletable records during an active subscription for safety and accountability purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

SafeArrive is a B2B service used by schools and educational institutions. We collect limited information about children (name and enrollment group) at the direction of the school, which acts as the data controller. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

7. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the system is controlled by role-based permissions. Administrators can revoke teacher access instantly at any time.

8. Your Rights

Parents and school administrators may contact us at hellosafearrive@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold. We will respond to all verified requests within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify school administrators of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
