No. SafeArrive works alongside your existing process. Your teacher takes attendance the same way they always have. When a child is marked absent or doesn't arrive, SafeArrive handles all the parent notifications automatically from there.
What if a parent already knows their child is staying home?
Parents can pre-notify SafeArrive by text or phone call — including from kosher phones — to report an absence or vacation in advance. If we already know a child is out, no alert is triggered. No false alarms.
